Trim Levels (Exterior)
Six Tahoe trims are available, each catering to different needs. All 2025 models have a redesigned front fascia and grille that create a bold presence on the road. The LS and LT come with LED headlamps and stylish 18-inch wheels, and the latter adds a power programmable liftgate. Black accents, including roof-mounted side rails and assist steps, and 22-inch high-gloss black-painted wheels set the sporty RST apart. Chevrolet offers this trim with 24-inch wheels, a first for the Tahoe lineup.
Distinctive features of the rugged-looking Z71 include a front fascia with a high-approach angle, 20-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, front and rear skid plates, and red recovery hooks. The refined Premier model showcases chrome styling elements and LED headlamps with animated lighting, while the range-topping High Country distinguishes itself with body-color accents and 22-inch wheels.
Engine (Power)
The Tahoe offers three engine options. All models except the High Country feature the standard 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V-8 with 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. A 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V-8 with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque is standard on the High Country and available on RST, Z71, and Premier trim levels.
All 2025 models except the LS offer the 3.0-liter Duramax Turbo-Diesel I-6, including the Z71, for the first time. This updated engine produces 305 horsepower — 10% more than the previous version — and 495 pound-feet of torque. All engines are paired with a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission for optimal performance and efficiency.
Performance
Chevrolet's Four-Corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, available on the RST, Z71, and High Country trims, automatically adjusts ride height to improve aerodynamics and comfort. This system works with Magnetic Ride Control to improve responsiveness and control across various road conditions. The independent rear suspension improves ride quality and handling.
When properly equipped, the Tahoe is rated to tow up to 8,400 pounds with the 5.3-liter V-8 and rear-wheel-drive configuration. The Z71 trim adds a two-speed transfer case for traditional four-wheel-drive capability, boosting its off-road capabilities.
Interior
The Tahoe's spacious cabin provides up to 122.7 cubic feet of cargo volume. The driver-centric layout includes a redesigned dashboard featuring a best-in-class 17.7-inch diagonal center touch-screen display and an 11-inch digital instrument cluster. Wireless charging comes standard, and acoustic-laminated glass ensures a quiet, relaxed environment.
Luxury features on the High Country include first- and second-row leather seating surfaces featuring perforated inserts and unique stitching, complemented by authentic wood trim. The Premier introduces a new Sky Cool Gray interior option with heated and ventilated front bucket seats.
Safety Features
Advanced driver-assistance features enhance convenience and road safety. Super Cruise, available on the LT, RST, Premier, and High Country, currently logs over 10 million hands-free miles monthly. Standard features include intersection emergency braking, forward collision alert, front pedestrian and bicyclist braking, rear pedestrian alert, and rear cross-traffic braking. All trims have HD Surround Vision, while technologies such as side bicyclist alert, blind-zone steering assist with trailering, and enhanced lane-keep assist on select models provide additional protection. Chevrolet equips the Tahoe with Teen Driver and Buckle to Drive features to help ensure the safety of young operators.
