1. ECOTEC 1.2L Turbo Engine
The Chevy Trax comes with an ECOTEC 1.2L Turbo engine that’s paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission for smooth acceleration. This combination generates 137 horsepower at 5000 rpm and 162 lb.-ft. of torque at 2500 rpm. The Trax’s Turbo engine helps you save on fuel costs through automatic stop/start technology, which shuts your engine down at complete stops and restarts it as you let off the brake.
