After six decades of being one of Chevy’s staple vehicles, it’s now time for the Malibu to retire. Its last iteration, which is theĀ 2025 Chevy Malibu, is a comfortable vehicle that feels great to drive, and there are plenty of wonderful features to enjoy.

1. Roominess

Whether you’re sitting in the front or the back, you’ll have room to spare in the Malibu. The front has 41.5 inches of legroom and the back has 38.1, so you should have no problem getting comfortable. Tall people will appreciate the 39.1 and 37.5 inches of headroom in the front and back, respectively.

There’s a similar amount of width in both rows, too, with 54.1 and 53.4 inches of hip room in the front and back, along with 58.5 and 57.1 inches of shoulder room in the front and back.

2. Safety

The Malibu acts like another pair of eyes watching the road while you drive. It can warn you when you’re unintentionally leaving your lane or in danger of colliding with another car up ahead. It can automatically brake in emergencies, too. A rear vision camera lets you see everything that’s happening while you’re reversing. These are just a few of the standard driver assistance features included with every trim.

3. Ride Comfort

The Malibu’s ride comfort is above average. Its performance is borderline sporty, so it’s highly responsive and agile. Its rides are not too firm, but they’re also not overly soft. The comfortable seating makes rights feel even better. The driver and front passenger can adjust their seats’ position in six directions in the base trim, and the RS and up add 8-way power adjustability on the driver’s side.

4. Stay Connected

If you need to stay in touch with people even when you’re driving, then you can connect your smartphone to the vehicle’s infotainment system. The 8-inch screen allows you to connect your smartphone to the car and use voice commands to both answer and initiate phone calls. If you need to go online, then you can use the built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. You can also use your phone’s messaging feature and several other apps via voice commands while driving.

5. Enjoy the Ride

Every ride can be made more enjoyable by using voice commands to access music, books, and other forms of audio entertainment from your smartphone. You can choose what you’re listening to on a whim by asking the car to play a certain song, playlist, or something else that’s on one of the apps on your phone.
